John Grant Jr. Breaks 15 year old record
John Grant Jr. Broke Derek Keenan's 15 year old record points record Saturday during a 22-18 Knighthawk victory over the Titans. Derek Keenan's record came 3/13/1992 when he scored 4 goals with 10 assists vs. the Baltimore Thunder (now the Colorado Mammoth).

All seven teams in Major Series Lacrosse gathered in Whitby this afternoon for a business meeting as well as the 2007 Major draft. The teams, in preparation for the draft, were permitted to protect up to four graduating juniors and the Redmen announced earlier this week that Shane Sargent, Colin Baker and Kurtis Wagar had been protected.

NEW YORK, NY – The Chicago Shamrox fell to the New York Titans 11-9 on Saturday night in front of more than 13,000 people in the first indoor lacrosse game ever held at Madison Square Garden. The Titans got two goals each from Pat Maddalena, Ryan Boyle and Jarrett Park to power past the previously undefeated Shamrox.

Rob Blasdell Makes 49 Saves in Arizona’s Second win of the Season
GLENDALE, AZ --- The Arizona Sting took the first of a two-game series with the Portland Lumberjax on Friday night, besting the previously unbeaten squad from the Pacific northwest by a score of 11-4 in what proved to be a record-setting night for goaltender Rob Blasdell. The 5,729 fans in attendance at Jobing.com Arena witnessed NLL history, as Blasdell tied an NLL record by holding the Lumberjax to four goals in an 11-4 victory. The veteran net minder also tied a Sting record on Friday night by making 49 saves on 53 shots

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL January 10, 2007 – Two Chicago Shamrox players, veteran goaltender Brandon Miller and rookie forward Bill McGlone, earned NLL Player of the Week honors for their performances in last Saturday’s 15-12 victory over the New York Titans at the Sears Centre arena in Hoffman Estates in front of a crowd of 8,456 people, the largest for any event held at the Sears Centre arena.
